Halloween Haunt 2.0 Mystery Tour!

A 2 day, 1 night Haunted Hiking trip to an undisclosed location!

This is a 8-10km/day hike and includes views, lakes, some hills, campfires and friends you haven’t met yet!

There will be prizes awarded for:

  1. Best Costume (Human and Dog)

  2. Best Campfire Story

  3. Best S’more Creation

Cost includes permits, gas, snacks, Saturday Lunch Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and Lunch, professional photos and all logistics

$115.00/Person.


Applications are due by Monday, October 7th at 12pm.
Accepted applicants will be informed by Monday, October 7th, 6pm at the latest.
Deposit to confirm your spot of $30 will be due Friday, October 11th.

McCrae Lake offers a 15km one way hike through rolling hills, with lake views and cliff side lookouts to take in all the colours and offerings of autumn! This is a rain or shine, dog friendly trip!
Meals will include Chili (Vegan & Vegetarian options available), Breakfast oats, trail mix and more!

Western Uplands Backpacking Trail- Algonquin Park

Last year we discovered our favourite campsite on the Western Uplands, and this year we want to go back! This trail goes through forest and over bogs, with some sloping and some steep hills. We’ll be camping near the water and would rate this trail as moderate only for its length.

We’re stoked to finally be getting out to Eastern Pines Backpacking Trail in Algonquin park! This trail offers lots to see and do and we’ll be doing the full loop which includes time to play in waterfalls, lookouts and more. The trail is 15km in total length, with lots of climbs and slopes. Join us as we explore Forks of the Credit by foot or snowshoe (weather dependant)

Forks of the Credit offers several trails that showcase waterfalls, a Kettle Lake and more from the Niagara Escarpment. We’ll be looking at the Cataract Falls Trail, an 8KM loop rated as “moderate”. Elevation starts at 325m, and maxes out at 417m, with several hills of varying steepness.

We’re exploring our own backyard at Glen Major Forest and Walker Woods, you coming?

Glen Major Forest offers several trails that showcase hardwood forest with lots of opportunity to spot some wildlife. We’ll be tackling the Glen Major North Route, an 7.1 KM loop rated as “moderate”. Elevation starts at 385m, and dips down to 320m, with hills of varying steepness. This trail is described as “hilly”.

Heading towards Georgian Bay, we’ll be doing 14.5 KM Out and Back trail at McCrae Lake!
The trail has several amazing views with lookout options with an elevation gain of 300m. This trail is described as moderately difficult with some long hills, and some steep. Approximately 7 hills out, and 7 hills back.

Total cost for the day is $45.00 (Including rental)

A 2 day, 1 night trip to Algonquin Park to hike from Rain Lake to Islet Lake, a portion of the Uplands Trail in Algonquin Park. 

This 20km (There and back) features relatively flat terrain, with 1-4 short but steep hills, waterfront campsites and plenty of photo ops. See last years photos here for a better idea!

Trail includes easy terrain, with few hills. This is a great hike for beginners, and first timers. If you have concerns about physical accessibility or skill level, please contact us.
